How should a Christian understand mental health?

We’ve all been affected by mental health issues or know someone who has been affected by it in some way. This means that facts are often confused with error. So, how should Christians understand mental health? Can we do something about it, or are we stuck with it?

Question

Here’s the question I was asked:

With a recent uprising in mental health in society and church, what should a christian know and understand in order to maintain a biblical approach to mental health. How do we address it? Is it a chemical imbalance or is it the result of wrong thinking?

Do you have a question you would like answered?

From time to time people ask me questions related to the subjects I write about. Many of these questions are questions from the experiences we all have as Christians living in a fallen world. So, I create a video with my response and then post the video for others to benefit from.
